Homemade playdough

Playdough is so much fun but rather expensive so I made my own.  It is so easy to make.

  • 250g plain flour
  • 50g salt
  • 140ml water
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons of cooking oil
  • a few drops of food colouring (optional)
  1. Mix the flour and salt together in a large bowl, then add the water and oil.
  2. Knead until mixture is smooth.  Add a bit more water or flour if sticky.
  3. Add the food colouring and knead until the colour is fully blended.
  4. Store in a plastic bag or clingfilm and put in the fridge.
You have done it all!  It is easy peasy lemon squeezy!  The children will have great fun!  It will keep them entertained for a long time.  Just remember to put it in the fridge when they have finished playing with it.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, I always read and reply to them all x
